2021 Home Décor Trends

Can you believe that some of the home décor trends that have been popping for the last few years are slowly fading away.  In 2020 we learned that we need homes that are multi-functional. Our homes need to play multiple roles such as relaxing places for family time and movie night, our homes of course, work & our kid’s school. In 2021 we are adjusting our homes to fit our needs. Here are some 2021 Home Décor trends that I’m loving.

Organic Desert Living with Antique Twist

If you are anything like me and you absolutely love the organic look, you will love this home décor style. This style includes some earth tones with natural light and a hint of a rustic flare. To me this style is more of a lifestyle it’s not about putting certain colors and looks together, its more about how you feel about the environment. This style is equipped with eco-conscious pieces, these pieces encourage sustainability and beget oneness with the natural world.

Wood Tones & Natural Finishes

Listen, if you are a someone who loves neutral tones, you will absolutely love this trend. This trend will fit with any home décor style, anywhere in your home. The natural tones of the wood can pair perfectly with creams, browns, white & blacks. The rawness and the imperfect wood tones are my favorite, so don’t be afraid to explore and push the boundaries.

Arches

This is one home décor feature I have truly become obsessed with. Arches gives elegance and luxury, but it can also hold a simpleness to it, its all in how you fix it up to compliment your style. Think about this- arches go on windows, mirrors, doors my favorite is entryways.

Dark & Moody

If there is one color, I love more than a rich white it would be black! Its something about a dark room that evokes a certain type of mood. When in a dark room it gives you tranquility, seclusion, and security. One thing we have all heard for sure are that light colors gives your room the look of having a bigger space however that does not mean that dark colors are out. Combine dark rooms with relaxation and the intimacy that it needs and you have
the idea dark and moody room.

Rich & Earthy Hues

When we think about Boho this is probably what we think about. You think of a room that is bright and full of color with bold textiles and tones of greenery, terra cotta, sand, mustard, and rust. These colors a loved ESPECIALLY when you are in a neutral esthetic.

Sculptural Furniture

This is what we call big and bold. Don’t you just love sculptural furniture, this furniture fits with the modern Scandinavian, boho, mediterranean & organic neutral living. All we need are earthy shades such as terracotta, sage, olive. This look will give you a unique style in any room, living room, bedroom your office.
